Maple is my German shepherd of three years. On 28 November we rushed to the Soweto Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $600. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond January. Maple is more than a pet - Maple got me through my hardest year. I have already put $90 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Soweto Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $600 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $30 • Emergency surgery: $500 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $70 Thanks for being kind about this.
