Help Luiz keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
The Community Pantry pantry in São Paulo is running low just as demand rises; $900 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 177 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 31% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the São Paulo market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $900 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $650
• Baby formula and diapers: $155
• Refrigeration and electricity: $95
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
