After four years of service, Lucky is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served four years in the marines and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $600.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $600 goes:
• Essential household items: $65
• Training provider fees: $350
• Housing deposit and first month: $185
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you and your family, Lucky. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours.
Wishing you peace, Lucky. Hope you get there. Blessings.
