Help Lucía replace the suspension and return to work
Lucía drives for a living in Los Angeles, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my food truck. 7 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $980
• Labor charges: $220
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $260
• Towing and inspection: $90
Thanks for being kind about this.
