Cameron, my grandfather, passed away on 2 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 58 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Cameron to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $4,750 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,700 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,550 • Transport of the deceased: $200 • Memorial gathering for the family: $300 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
