Help Luana pay for knee replacement surgery at São Paulo Regional Medical Center
A scheduled knee replacement surgery in November is out of reach without help covering $1,350 of the cost.

Luana was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in July. The surgeon at São Paulo Regional Medical Center recommended knee replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,950, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,350 short.
my daughter has been in and out of São Paulo Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,950 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Luana struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Luana won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $90
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $590
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $570
• Post-operative medication: $100
Glad we found this place.

You're not alone, Vanessa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Mysuru this morning.
Rooting for you, Vanessa. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of São Paulo.
so sorry you're going through this, Vanessa. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. All the best.
good luck. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
