Help Logan keep his home - 4 months behind on rent
After a car accident, Logan is 4 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.
🇺🇸 Tampa, Florida, United States1,006 views
After a sudden layoff at the textile factory, Logan fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Friday a termination letter was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $2,650.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, the family must leave.
There are two young children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Logan has started working evenings as a cleaner, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $240
• First month of rent as a buffer: $650
• Rent arrears (4 months): $1,760
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

thanks for sharing this, Jocelyn. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. God bless
Hope things get better soon, Jocelyn. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
You're not alone, Jocelyn. Hope this works out for you. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Bristol.
Thinking of you, Jocelyn. Your post was clear and honest.
