Help Lincoln replace the rear axle and return to work
Without my food truck Lincoln can't work; a $1,150 repair would put him back on the road.
Anywhere in the world1,921 views
I make my living with my food truck. 8 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Labor charges: $340
• Towing and inspection: $150
• rear axle replacement (parts): $660
Thank you for reading my story.
