Help Lina keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Giza is running low just as demand rises; $550 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 399 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 47% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Giza market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $370
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $110
• Baby formula and diapers: $50
• Refrigeration and electricity: $20
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
