Help Lin move out of an unsafe apartment this Thursday
Lin has found a safe new apartment in Raleigh and needs help moving heavy furniture on Thursday.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Raleigh, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Anaheim this morning. Thinking of Raleigh
Good luck, Lin. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
