I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $90 • Labor charges: $25 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $55 • Towing and inspection: $30 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Liên

  • Is there anything that isn't money that would help Liên?

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about fuel pump replacement (parts), advice is welcome too. Thanks, that means a lot.

  • Stay strong, Liên. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.

    • How is Liên doing now?

      • I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Hanoi.

        • Stay strong. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
