Help Lia keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Bekasi is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Saturday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 178 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 44% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bekasi market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $130
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $125
• Baby formula and diapers: $110
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35

Stay strong. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Wish I lived closer to Nairobi so I could bring a meal. Love from Savannah
Wishing you the best, Lia. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best
