Levi was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in October. The surgeon at Albany University Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and He is scheduled for January. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $6,700 short. my son has been in and out of Albany University Hospital since October. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,500 is more than we can find.
