Help Lestari keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Lestari runs a volunteer pantry feeding 206 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 206 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Jakarta Selatan market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $190
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $95
• Baby formula and diapers: $60
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55
