Hazel is my tabby kitten of nine years. On 19 May we rushed to the Mthatha Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Mthatha Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
