Maple is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 24 August we rushed to Belo Horizonte Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $700. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Maple is more than a pet - Maple walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
