Leighton was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in March. The surgeon at Spanish Town General Hospital recommended spinal decompression surgery, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,550, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,900 short.
my father has been in and out of Spanish Town General Hospital since March. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,550 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Leighton struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Leighton won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.

Sure. The biggest one is surgeon and anesthesia fees, $600. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
