Duque de Caxias

Leandro earned a place in Year 10 at Duque de Caxias Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $250, which is more than they have. Leandro loves graphic design and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $250 goes: • School uniform and shoes: $70 • Laptop: $170 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Jorge

Updates from Jorge

Update from Duque de Caxias: we've started the first stage. We're at 66% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($135 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 30% funded and I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.
