Leandro is one semester away from finishing an accounting degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $650.

Leandro is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at the Guarulhos Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has said Leandro can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Leandro has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Leandro would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Leandro isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Textbooks and materials: $55
• Exam and lab fees: $105
