Help Lea save Maple - surgery needed
A tabby kitten named Maple needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $1,750 bill the family can't cover.

Maple is my tabby kitten of two years. On 20 November we rushed to the Berlin Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,750.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $340 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Berlin Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,400
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $270
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Lea.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. emergency surgery comes first ($1,400) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
