Laxmi lost her wife suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $600.

Durga, my wife, passed away on 7 June after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 86 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Durga to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Butwal hospice.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $100
• Funeral home services and casket: $460
• Transport of the deceased: $40
