Help Lata finish a teaching qualification at Mumbai Community College - $250 to go

Lata is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Mumbai Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $250. The registrar has said Lata can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lata has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lata would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Lata isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $250 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $20 • Outstanding tuition balance: $170 • Exam and lab fees: $60 Every share and every dollar helps. - Pankaj
