Help Larysa start the school year with the right tools
Larysa earned a place in Grade 9 at the Saint Petersburg Selective School; we're $250 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at the Saint Petersburg Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $250, which is more than we have.
I love chemistry and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $250 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
• Laptop: $165
• School uniform and shoes: $40
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

sending strength. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this, Larysa. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care.
