Help Lanre with an overdue water bill before winter
A disconnection notice for water arrived and Lanre needs $100 before November.
Anywhere in the world261 views
The water account is 2 months behind. Lanre received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in August.
Lanre called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through winter without water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
Lanre is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Lanre's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $40
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $45

Take care, Usman. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Thane.
You're not alone, Usman. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps
you're not alone, Usman. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Lagos.
