Oscar is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 21 June we rushed to the Ogbomosho Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Ogbomosho Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $260
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $75
• Medication and follow-up visits: $55
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60
