Help Landon replace the fuel pump and return to work
Landon drives for a living in San Jose, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 3 weeks.
🇺🇸 United States1,812 views
I make my living with my pickup. 3 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $210
• Labor charges: $180
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,160
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
