Ikeja

Ollie is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 12 April we rushed to Ikeja Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $200. They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond June. Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Ikeja Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $200 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $85 • Medication and follow-up visits: $50 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Kunle
