Kunal is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Jodhpur University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has said Kunal can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kunal has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kunal would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Kunal isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $650 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $175
• Textbooks and materials: $25
• Final term tuition: $450
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
