The heating account is 3 months behind. Konjit received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Konjit called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
