Help Kioko keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Kioko runs a volunteer pantry feeding 269 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Tuesday from the back of a community center. We started with 29 families, and now we feed 269 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Entebbe market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $300 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $125
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $130
