Help Kidus replace the fuel pump and return to work
Without my tuk-tuk Kidus can't work; a $250 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 10 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $165
• Labor charges: $35
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $15
• Towing and inspection: $35

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Kidus.
Fuel pump replacement (parts) is $165 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
