Kennedy was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in March. The surgeon at El Paso Community Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,000, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $4,500 short.
my daughter has been in and out of El Paso Community Hospital since March. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Kennedy struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
