Help Kelechi get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
Kelechi served ten years in the air force; $800 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served ten years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $800.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $800 goes:
• Training provider fees: $390
• Housing deposit and first month: $290
• Transport to appointments: $45
• Essential household items: $75
Thanks for being kind about this.
