Help Keith through 4 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
Keith is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Keith was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at the San Diego Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Keith is 58, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the San Diego Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $12,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Transport to the San Diego Oncology Institute: $930
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $470
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,800
