Help Keith save Oscar - surgery needed
Oscar, Keith's dog, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,200.
🇬🇧 Leeds, England, United Kingdom860 views
Oscar is my dog of two years. On 19 February we rushed to the Leeds Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,200.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $220 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Leeds Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,150
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $690
• Medication and follow-up visits: $165
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $195
With deep gratitude,
Keith

Good luck. Your post was clear and honest. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Leeds.
Take care. Poor Oscar, hope they feel better soon. Wish I lived closer to Zagazig so I could bring a meal.
