Help Kavitha keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
The Open Hands Pantry pantry in Mumbai is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 115 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mumbai market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $220
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $80
• Baby formula and diapers: $75
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
With deep gratitude,
Kavitha

Hope it all works out, Kavitha. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Girona but we're thinking of you. God bless.
