Help Kathleen replace the fuel pump and return to work
Kathleen's my taxi is Kathleen's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $2,000.

I make my living with my taxi. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,400
• Labor charges: $280
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $210
• Towing and inspection: $110
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Small businesses are the heart of Cork. Hope you're open again soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Rooting for you, Kathleen. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
You're not alone, Kathleen. This could happen to any of us.
You're not alone, Kathleen. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
