Help Karim restart a small grocery stall in Austin after the demolition of the market
Karim has run a small grocery stall for four years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $1,800 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a small grocery stall in Austin. In October, the demolition of the market took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $970
• Shop repairs and licensing: $320
• Working capital for the first month: $510
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Austin.
Thinking of you and your family, Karim. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Wishing you peace, Karim. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care!
Good luck. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Petrópolis
Small businesses are the heart of Austin. Hope you're open again soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings.
