Help Karan with an overdue electricity bill before the rainy season
Help Karan cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.
🇮🇳 Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India1,069 views
The electricity account is 2 months behind. Karan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Karan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Karan is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $65
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $15
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
