Kamrul is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Gazipur Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Kamrul can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kamrul has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kamrul would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Kamrul isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Gazipur Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $500 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $155 • Final term tuition: $290 • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Textbooks and materials: $40 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
