Help Kagiso replace the gearbox and return to work

Without my school-run minibus Kagiso can't work; a $150 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $150 goes: • Towing and inspection: $25 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $50 • Labor charges: $75 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Kagiso

Updates from Kagiso

  1. Thank you all. We're at 82% now ($123). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week. - Kagiso

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($73 in total) the plan for towing and inspection is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
