Help Jyoti start the school year with the right tools
Help Jyoti begin Grade 9 with a laptop, uniform and books.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Chennai Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love chemistry and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $90
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Dar es Salaam this morning. Love from Dar es Salaam.
