Help Jumoke replace the transmission and return to work
Without my school-run minibus Jumoke can't work; a $150 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 5 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $150 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $70
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $60
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Updates from Jumoke
Thank you all. We're at 98% now ($148). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward transmission replacement.
Small update. $118 so far, I made the first payment toward transmission replacement.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($61 in total) I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Hope things get better soon, Jumoke. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Badagry.
