Help Juma save Sunny - surgery needed
A rabbit named Sunny needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.
🇹🇿 Tanzania714 views
Sunny is my rabbit of eleven years. On 3 April we rushed to Mwanza Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Mwanza Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $160
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
