Pepper is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 30 December we rushed to Guadalupe Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $450. They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond March. Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Guadalupe Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery.
