Help Julián lay Carlos to rest with dignity in Winston-Salem
Julián lost his grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $4,600.

Carlos, my grandfather, passed away on 20 April after a sudden heart attack. He was 86 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Carlos to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $4,600 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,700
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,100
• Transport of the deceased: $420
• Memorial gathering for the family: $380
