Help Juan replace the gearbox and return to work
Juan's my tuk-tuk is Juan's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $200.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $75
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $45
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope things get better soon. Small businesses are the heart of Angeles. Hope you're open again soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
Good luck. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Laredo
Take care. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Hamilton but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
