Help Joya start the school year with the right tools
Joya won a place at the Dhaka Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh893 views
Joya earned a place in Grade 9 at the Dhaka Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Joya loves robotics and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $70
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $20
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Best of luck, Rahima. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Xalapa.
