Josiah was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in February. The surgeon at Saint Francis Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $1,100 short. my son has been in and out of Saint Francis Hospital since February. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find. While we wait, Josiah struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Josiah won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing. The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did. Where the $1,100 goes: • Physiotherapy sessions: $450 • Travel and lodging for the family: $460 • Post-operative medication: $190 Thank you for reading my story. - Greyson

          • sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Khon Kaen so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Nottingham.
