Help Josiah keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for students and shift workers in Montgomery.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 118 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Montgomery market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,950 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,750
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,500
• Baby formula and diapers: $370
• Refrigeration and electricity: $330
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
